After 5 months of coronavirus pandemia, how is the situation in DF? Well, it still scares me to see these high numbers of infected and deaths. For sure we should all be vigilant and careful, but some facts bring some bright perspective.
I was listening to CBN Brasilia (a news radio station) yesterday and 2 doctors who work in Brasilia were telling that the ICU's in the city are not at full occupancy as it was some weeks ago. However, it worries them that who get hospitalized at ICU because of COVID-19 face long hospitalization time.
Also schools are set to reopen on September 21st. It will be a gradual process starting with the Elementary students. On October 19th it's the Middle school students and finally on Oct 26th it's the High school students that are set to go back to the schools. You can read more about this here
